Serving is one of the best ways to feel part of the ECN family. When you join a team, you’re not just filling a role – you’re helping create an environment where people can encounter God, build community, and grow in faith. Every team matters, and every person brings something unique.
Whether you love people, music, creativity, tech, or working behind the scenes, there is a place for you to serve, grow, and belong.
Our Teams
Here some of the key teams that make Sundays and midweek ministry happen. Each one is welcoming, supportive, and passionate about helping you step into your God‑given gifts.

Our Welcome Team helps every person who walks through our doors feel seen, valued, and at home. They set the tone for the whole morning.
What would I do? You might greet people at the door, help seat guests in the auditorium, support with in-service announcements and activities, or serve at the Info Point by answering questions and helping newcomers settle in.

Our Car Parking Team creates the first welcome of the day. They help every guest arrive safely, feel at ease, and know exactly where to go.
What would I do? You might help direct cars safely and smoothly as people arrive, offer a warm greeting the moment someone pulls in, guide new guests so they know exactly where to go, support families getting kids out of the car, or help create a calm, friendly flow in the car park that makes everyone feel looked after from the second they arrive. You might also help to direct the flow of traffic after the service.

Our Security Team helps ensure that everyone who attends church feels safe and supported. They provide a calm, visible presence throughout the service.
What would I do? You’ll be based in the foyer and key points around the building, welcoming late arrivals, assisting visitors, and helping identify any potential issues. Training is provided.

The Sound Team ensures our worship, teaching, and livestream audio is clear, balanced, and excellent. They play a vital role in helping people engage with the service.
What would I do? You’ll help run the sound desk for either in‑house or online audio. Training is provided, and you’ll be supported every step of the way.

Our Production Team handles the audio and visual elements of our services, both in the room and online. They help create a seamless, engaging experience for everyone who joins us.
What would I do? You could operate cameras, run visuals, or support the sound desk. No experience is needed – we provide full training. If you enjoy tech or problem‑solving, this is a great place to serve.

Our Worship Team is a vibrant community of musicians and singers who love leading people into God’s presence. They are committed to excellence – not for performance, but to create an atmosphere where everyone can worship freely.
What would I do? You’ll take part in rehearsals, prepare personally, and serve on rotation for Sunday services. You’ll learn our song list, stay up-to-date with new songs, and help shape the worship environment.

God Tots cares for our youngest children (ages 2–4), creating a safe, nurturing environment where little ones can play, sing, and hear simple Bible truths.
What would I do? You’ll welcome children, support play and story time, help with practical needs, and assist with set‑up and pack‑down. All volunteers complete a DBS check.

Kids Church is a lively, creative space for primary‑aged children. The team helps children learn about Jesus through stories, worship, activities, and play.
What would I do? You may help with registration, lead activities, support free‑play time, or assist with Bible stories and worship. All volunteers complete a DBS check.

Our Youth Team creates a safe, fun, and faith‑building environment for young people in Years 7–11. Through games, discussions, and teaching, they help young people grow in confidence and discover who God has made them to be.
What would I do? You’ll help with registration, support small‑group discussions, and encourage young people as they explore faith. All volunteers complete a DBS check.
