Kids Ministry
A place where children grow, belong, and discover God’s love.
At ECN, we believe children are an essential part of our church family. Our heart is to create fun, faith‑filled environments where every child can encounter God, build friendships, and grow in confidence. Sundays are designed to be engaging, creative, and full of life – a place your children will love coming back to.
While you enjoy the main service, your children will be cared for by a dedicated team who are passionate about helping young people discover Jesus in a way that is real and age‑appropriate.
God Tots – Ages 3 to 5
God Tots is a playful, nurturing space for our youngest children. Through stories, songs, crafts, and simple Bible truths, we help little ones begin to understand how much God loves them. When children reach the September they start Year 1, they move up into Kids Church.
Kids Church – Primary School Age
Kids Church is for children in Years 1 to 6. Each week includes worship, interactive teaching, games, and activities designed to help children explore the Bible and apply it to everyday life. Children are grouped by school years so that sessions can be tailored to their age and stage of development.
Our aim is simple: to help every child grow in their faith, discover their God‑given identity, and learn how to live out what they believe.
What Our Sessions Look Like
Every Kids Church session is built around helping children understand who God is and how His Word speaks into their lives. Sessions are fun, practical, and engaging, giving children tools they can use throughout the week.
Whether they are learning through stories, discussions, crafts, or challenges, our goal is to help children connect with God in a way that feels natural and exciting.
Safeguarding
Your child’s safety and wellbeing are our highest priority. All volunteers in God Tots, Kids Church, and Youth are safely recruited and fully trained. This includes enhanced DBS checks, references, and safeguarding training in line with best‑practice guidance.
You can relax and enjoy the service knowing your children are cared for in a safe, nurturing environment.
Important Information for Parents
Spaces are limited, so please arrive early to secure a place. Registration for the 10:30am Service is open from 10:15am to 10:40am. Children are also welcome to stay in the service under parental supervision.
There is a creche available for 0-3s with a livelink to the main service.
Our Welcome Team will happily guide you to the registration areas.
On your first visit, a parent or guardian will need to complete a short registration and consent form.
At drop‑off, you’ll receive a set of stickers with a unique code to ensure safe and secure collection. Our team will guide you through the process.
Once your child is settled, you can head into the main service and enjoy the morning knowing they are in great hands.
